As per the key post everyone online as deemed class 3. You need to put your application in to see the true class in a letter post your claim being submitted. My voluntary contribution to pay back is £824.20 every year from 2006 to 2024. There is a slight variation in this but not much. Did anyone else get that?
Thanks, I'll fill in the form and submit and see what the result is. I'm hazy on the dates in the 90s to be honest and I've touched base with my employer there and like me he hasn't a clue as to the exact dates I left.As per the key post everyone online as deemed class 3. It can guide me for sure but I don't have the exact day/months only the year. I was thinking of stating that in the cover letter and putting a foot note in the form itself to clarify that I don't remember exact days/date. Has anyone else done that and crossed the line with that part of the process? If you sign into your gov.uk account, you will be able to see the years that you paid National Insurance contributions, so this could guide you ...
I posted the CF83 form off today with a cover letter outlining my situation. I'm just going to sit and wait and see what happens next.@Finance - I knew my dates (from an old diary I dug out of a box in the attic) but didn't have the name of the agency who placed me.
My cover letter, which accompanied my paper CF83, clarified what I didn't have, and why. My application was successful. They have your NI record after all.
