Whether by accident or design, the timing of Biden's departure has drawn the media spotlight away from Trump after the assassination and Republican convention. Harris still has VP pick to announce, Convention etc.
 
Trump is challenging whether its legal or not for Harris to pick-up Bidens donations. I'm sure there's lots of ironies in there somewhere Trump/legalities etc.... !

Harris has raised a record-breaking $100m since Sunday last.

Besides, the accumulated campaign money, $96m was in the name of the President and Vice President.

We can expect more and increasingly ruthless shenanigans from Trump and his faithful from now until September.

This is Trump's last hurrah and he won't go with good grace.

In Michigan, Fox News found Harris and Trump tied at 49 percent while Harris led Trump by six points – 52-46 percent – in Minnesota.
The survey also found the two candidates each tied with 49 percent support in Pennsylvania while Trump was found to have been leading Harris in Wisconsin by one point with 50 percent support compared to Harris’ 49 percent.

What will trump do if he loses to Harris?, his whole identity and raison detre has been about getting back to white house. Obviously power went to his head, he could have went back to the celebrity and talk show circuit but he has staked everything on getting elected again. This is a very different trump to the 2016 incarnation then he was the big upsetter sticking it to the establishment, he was also funny and box office viewing. Now he is just a characture spouting the same old boring mantras

Viewed as a 'safe' choice, Minnesota was already leaning Democratic.

He first ran for Congress in a largely agricultural district that spans across southern Minnesota, which is fairly rural and Republican-leaning.

A great choice of vice president, an actual normal guy for once. Its amazing how the campaign has completely turned around. He knows how to play trump at his own game by cleverly labeling him turning trumps tactics back at him. If trump had of been smart he would have chosen nikki holey as his vp but now he is stuck with vance
 
Kamala gone slight favourite. Maybe peaking too soon. A week is a very long time in this contest. The Donald's fly in the ear moment has already almost been forgotten.

There will always be people, like Trump, with serious mental health challenges.

What's disturbing is that roughly half the American people think it ok to elect this individual as President.
 
You can see the childish fury coming through, that an election he thought he had in the bag - to the point of appointing a bagman like Vance as his VP pick who brought nothing to the ticket except tech money donations ... and he is falling behind in the polls and betting to Harris.

It is going to get worse. Republicans are going to try every dirty trick they can to disrupt the elections count etc if they think they are losing on the day.
