This doesn't really surprise me but it does annoy the hell out of me. I've noticed over the past few days that the tragedy in Omagh is being reported on by some of our broadsheet newspapers in a sensationalist and very possibly inaccurate manner. I would expect this from tabloids but is it just the case that all newspapers now contain the same trash just in different formats? In this case how can newspapers have front page headlines claiming as fact things like the father being the prime suspect when the investigation is only getting under way and no suggestion to this end has been made by the PSNI? Why can't the papers leave any rumours out of it and wait for some hard facts to emerge? Even a hard lesson like the Liam Lawlor gaffe doesn't teach these guys anything!
