Leave overnight.
Stuff yourself silly - I like cream, honey and lemon on mine.
They mentioned on telly this morning that its very important to whisk the batter again after letting it sit.
Has to be golden syrup rather than honey. The extra calories make it taste better![]()
Salt and lemon for main course. Nutella for dessert.
Next day, lunch with leftovers with filling of smoky bacon, cheese, tomato & egg.
Mmmmm.![]()
