To be fair Brendan, a lot of people have already wasted a lot of time dealing with this IT meltdown.

Giving them the full weekend to file seems reasonable.

That is so unfair. Those of us who efficiently got our returns in early are now being penalised for our efficiency.

Yeah. Maybe.

If you mean financially though then the electricity that you spent in typing that probably cost you more than whatever you lost in interest though. Unless your tax bill is an 8-figure sum, in which case you're doing something wrong and probably need a good accountant!
