Here is the calculation:It is hard to see what you are talking about with so little information
Can you post more details of what you think is mis-calculated?
Yes, definitely a bug. That was why I posted, I wanted to warn anyone who is about to submit their return.Hard to say what's wrong
Presumably you input income that comes to 43,744 - how it gets 47,568 is a mystery or a bug
They should really be communicating this to Revenue via MyEnquiries. It’s good of you to post and draw attention to a possible issue.
Great community this.
Thank you.
Well of course, that was the first thing I did. They should really be communicating this to Revenue via MyEnquiries.
Hi,They should really be communicating this to Revenue via MyEnquiries.
They got back to me this afternoon with exactly this suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't work (it fixed the very slight 5 euro difference at the top but not the main problem). I have replied to their reply and I will report back when I hear anything.Hi,
Did you try deleting the existing form and re-doing? DId the revenue respond on myenquiries?
Thanks
Thank you for this Cally, at least they know something is wrong with the form.My colleagues attended an Irish tax institute conference today joined by revenue and one of the points mentioned was
"Revenue are aware of Form 11 issues and are currently working on or have already resolved same. Eg DIRT was being charged at 40% and this is now corrected to 33%.
I'm adding in EU interest and getting a DIRT amount calculated at around 44%. Is this roughly what you are seeing @MathematicianThank you for this Cally, at least they know something is wrong with the form.
The DIRT has not been corrected though (as of 4pm when I deleted the form and redid it).
The incorrect figures are in post number 3 above, I have not yet tried again.I'm adding in EU interest and getting a DIRT amount calculated at around 44%. Is this roughly what you are seeing @Mathematician
Same! they said they are working to resolve but haven't heard back in a week. They got back to me this afternoon with exactly this suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't work (it fixed the very slight 5 euro difference at the top but not the main problem). I have replied to their reply and I will report back when I hear anything.
