People should not quote the entire post when replying.

To quote the whole post, highlight the whole post and the reply button will appear

is it still possible to quote some of the post?

Well, I had to type that out because I don’t how to quote text any more!

You select the text in the post that you want to quote and then click/tap in the "Reply" button that pops up under the selected text.
