Making payments to HMRC

I got confirmation during the year that I could avail for years going forward, but no details for payment for 2024 which I understood I do now end of year. Can anyone advise steps I need to take?
In the UK the tax year ends in April, not December. So the current tax year 2024/2025 ends in April 2025. You will receive a letter to your registered address after that with the details of how to make the payment.

I am eligible to fill in some some gaps with class 2, and some with class 3, and can contribute class 2 going forward.
I only wish to buy back the class 2 years, but when a making a payment, is there a way of explaining which years the payment relates to?
Is a letter to HMRC required, or is there another way of communicating which gaps are being filled?
Apologies if this has asked elsewhere already.
Thanks

Make the relevant payment.
Wait a few days
Ring them
They should be able to see the payment on the system and you can then tell them which years you want it allocated to.

Getting a USD>GBP transfer ready in Wise and they are asking for a business address. Am i supposed to use the Barclays Bank address or some HMRC address? Anyone know? TIA.

I have a similar query to giddyup above, filling in an online payment form for ptsb swift transfer and it wants receiver name (HRMC NIC receipts i am assuming) and receiver address, not sure what to put for address.

I used PTSB, I was going to use the payee section on the app, but decided to fill in the payment form you get a reference number and submit it at the end of the process, paid in sterling and visit the branche with ID to send the money as sterling.

Is the 5th still a hard deadline for payment for people who got the letter earlier in the year?
I sent them a cheque from my NI account with a covering letter. 10 days later this has not been cashed and I am concerned that it is lost. Do I have to act to cancel this next week and send it electronically, or is there any leeway on the date for payment.
I appreciate that people starting the process have leeway for payment but do I?

What date was on your letter?

There is penalty for late payment, but you don't get kicked out (not immediately anyway)

The letter said 5 April.
I'll wait until Thursday and if there is no evidence, I'll cancel the cheque and send it electronically.
