You don’t need a BIC.There is no place for a BIC Code.
Both IBAN and UK sort code and account number will work.I used the local transfer rather than BIC.
There are about 3 million working-age adults in Ireland. An article in Monday's Irish Independent claims that that more than 250,000 Irish people "may be due" to benefit from this.
Thanks, I just can't see it on bank of ireland set up.Every bank’s system is different but there’s always space for a reference.
I’ve been told over the phone by HMRC that as long as payment is received by April 2025 then these funds are safe and will be credited. Once received, it may take months to allocated them on their system, but as long as they ‘have custody’ of the funds on time they will be allocated eventually.Hi there,
My husband is just getting around to paying some years back now. We're still waiting to see if some years are class 2 or 3 but can pay5 or 6 years back at class 2. Planning to do this through revolut. I know it can take months for the payment to gothriugh and be allocated to certain years. If this hadn't happened by April 2025 will he lose out?
@DannyBoyD Were you able to set this up yourself as my ptsb app is suggesting I need to visit a branch to set up international transfers.I'm with PTSB, I have a space for Reference when setting up a new Payee.
Might it be on the next section after you put the IBAN in?
There's no option on the app to add an international payee - only domestic. It is possible to set up a domestic payee on the app. I've done it recently.
An international payee? I don't know.
