Good idea! Now - anybody know where I can get [broken link removed] quickly?A life?
I know a 50 year old man who has a website which will be 10 years on the go next year. Any ideas on what to get him?
It's not going to be much of a surprise if can read about his present here before he gets it![]()

He registered on the vBulletin incarnation of AAM in 2004. This was not the first incarnation of the site...
ah well, if you are the sort that doesn't go spending money on presents then you should say so in advance![]()
And spoil the surprise?

Great. I know- let's get everyone to chip in a euro and then buy a big bunch of balloons and fill them with helium and then strap Brendan to the bunch of balloons with a big AAM banner and launch him down the liffey- it fulfills two functions- advertising the site and gives Brendan a thrill. Obviously we'd have to have safety equipment etc.
I bet THAT's never been done before...
(actually, not sure that slang is used here...)

Hey! I was only joking. You don't really think that I'm actually going to buy him something do you? Well maybe a poster?
