Dunnes Stores - Box of Easy-Peeler oranges.

I got an email back next day from Dunne Stores customer service advising me to bring my receipt and their email to Dunnes for a full refund and was fully refunded today. Thanks G Sheehy
Same here. However the person sending the email ruined it by saying that I was the only one who had this problem (obviously not). Why did she need to say this.....isolate the person making the complaint and make them feel that they are the odd one out.

The only thing is. My original box was ruined, I had to dump it, I had to send an email, I had to call to the store for my refund. All that effort to get what I originally paid for and should have been perfect.

The simple solution is not to buy any product that is not in good condition. Use your head and not your stomach. No supermarket wants to be loaded with decaying fruit & veg. They get the message quicker then and you don’t get the reputation of being a moaner.

I find Dunnes fruit to be seasonal tbh but not as in time of year for harvesting. I eat their grapes from July till November, otherwise I find them soggy (I like a crunch). Their pink lady apples are only good during summer/Autumn as well, otherwise lack of crunch. Same for their strawberries but they're bad value anyway so I tend to avoid them mostly. Their oranges (49p) have been terrible in the last 3 months and I find they improve in Feb or March. At least the latter is obvious from look and feel.

The oranges are in boxes of about 20 oranges. You cannot go through each orange in each box. The boxes are hit and miss, some weeks they are fine other weeks they are very poor.
