I buy a box of these every week from Dunnes Stores. I have noticed in the last few boxes purchased that there are a number of oranges that are going rotten/mushy within a day or two of me buying them. Anybody else notice this?

Don't eat oranges so can't comment on those but bought 2 trays of kiwi @ €3 each with 4 in each tray. Opposite to your problem as could have bounced them off the floor. They are usually very nice and much better than the €2.49 trays and have been buying them for a long time now without any problems. Wondering does the time of year have anything to do with these problems.

I usually find that the fruit/veg from Dunnes lasts a lot longer than Lidl/Aldi so am surprised at this.

Same. Wasn't sure if we were damaging them though but I guess not now

SuperValu for the easy-peelers at the moment - 7 for €2

Aldi for the Zespri Golden Kiwi always. 3 for €1.99 (I think).

Yes paid 6.99 for a box of easy peelers last Wednesday and more than half of them were only fit for the bin. It is very annoying tbh snd you can't see them as Box is almost fully covered. I intend mentioning it when next in Dunnes

I found that over the late summer their strawberries were going soft/off more quickly than previously. I put it down to our weather this year. But I'm finding the same with the Dutch imports now.
Could it relate to their fruit storage?

I also had to send a box of Dunnes oranges back last weekend as most mouldy. The quality of their fruit and veg lately has gone down. Also their meat is terrible. Cooked their lamb and sirloin roasts recently that were tough and almost inedible.
