Just a quick update
Bought 200 duty free inSingers, then 600 duty paid in Frankfurt
My luggage got left behind in Frankfurt and I sailed through customs in Dub without a glance
Got my luggage the following morning, a customs officer asked if I had any duty free or food in my luggage, which I didn’t, and waved me through
Stayed within the guidelines and saved myself a bit of money so all good
More importantly, it’s great to be home
