Advice on getting in to business in Ireland

Hi all,
After 30yrs in corporate middle management I am considering starting a business or buying a business. I've managed people, customers, sales & marketing, managed budgets and P&L's to a certain extent, but not been exposed to running a small business as a whole. I'm not looking specifically for financial or strictly business advice - but more looking at how can I explore this area more and look to educate and prepare myself for maybe making this step in the future? Is there a good source of business groups or forums that I could find for small businesses in Ireland? Is there good courses anywhere - online or in person that people would recommend?
I've done the Youtube stuff with various entrepreneurial content, but looking at something more practical and specific to Ireland. I don't know what I don't know as yet, so apologies if this come across quite vague.

Thanks in advance

Perhaps you're already beyond this, but if not its a decent starting point. The SYOB course I did only cost €30 a couple of years ago. It consisted of 6 x 3 hour sessions and a little follow up one to one mentoring. It is a very basic starting point, but after 30+ years in public service it helped me a lot to know where to focus my mind.
That's great, thank you!
