Hi
My PC is now virtually unusable due to a starting problem with Windows XP - may be malware but I'm not sure. It will start in safe mode.
I've come to the conclusion that the only option left for me is to reformat the hard drive. I've heard that it is actually not nearly as complex as some would have you believe and that the main thing is that instructions are followed precisely.
Is this true?
If so, can anyone provide a link to what they would regard as accurate, unambiguous, step by step instructions on how to do this?
Also, in a basic sense, I think all I need is the Windows installation disk?
Thanks
