Does anyone know anywhere in Dublin city centre that replaces the battery in electronic key fobs?

You can probably buy the batteries online or in a €2 shop for next to nothing and fit them yourself.

you may find that only an authorised dealer has the appropriate tool required to open the key fob to replace the battery. That is certainly the case with my car anyway.

It's a fob to open the electric gates to my apartment complex.

There's no obvious way to open it to change the battery myself.

Maybe they are disposable and you need to get a new one from your management company?

Its a battery for a remote your are looking for not a fob.
Fobs dont have batteries. Is this a fob you present to a reader on the wall to open the gate or is it a push button remote control?

What I'm saying is they are called remotes.
Fobs are the small grey or black things you put on your key ring

If its a remote the easiest thing to do is romove the back with a small phillips screwdriver & bring the battery to any jewleers etc.
