Is this a bit nuts or is it just me..
1.Advice is requested by Joe Bloggs
2.A.N. Other replies advising Joe.
3.Joe doesnt like what he hears
4.A.N. Other clearly states legal reasons for not advising to the contrary.
5.Joe gets abusive.

For instance;
Joe-"I shot my milkman this morning, please advise on how best to plead insanity, put on a good act and get away with a short stint"

A.N. Other - " you shouldnt really have shot himn though"

Joe - " Thats no help to me, you are being self righteoues/squeeky clean blah blah blah...."

Is this a question/opinion/rant? I'm unsure I even get the title?

Do you mean that people request advice but if they dislike the advice given, they ignore it?

Yes its a rant, people cant just disagree and discuss their opinions; good luck with the big bad world if thats their reaction to a difference of opinion!

Words merely shadow, mirror and attempt to simulate reality but are no substitute for it.
Theres no point in posters criticising someone for not understanding their communications if they cant be bothered to check their impulses and help explain further why their original post is important.

In a similar vein, have you noticed how often posters simply haven't read the previous posts in a thread? and just dismissively and/or churlishly make a point that's already been discussed?

Should have expected that...;)

ClubMan is quite fond of cheap Bavaria beer from Aldi if I remember previous posts correctly ;)
Aldi don't sell Bavaria - just cheap imitations. Anyway - these days I prefer 500ml bottles of Staropramen sporadically available for €2 in the local Centra.

Local Dunnes were selling 3 for a fiver last night (normally 2.49 each).

nice beer too...not a patch on Pilsner Urquell tho' ! (ahh Prague memories...30c a pint :) )

Dunnes on georges Street is also selling cans of Koppaberg Swedish Apple and Pear Cider for 2 euro a can. I was surprised and though they were marketed as a premium proiduct.

Its expensive in the pubs. I dont think its too bad when chilled but usually if someone doesnt have a sweet tooth and doesnt like cider, then they dont like it full stop. I'm more into cognac /whiskey lately though. I'm on the hard stuff !! ;)

Napoleon Brandy from Aldi isnt too bad either ;)

I have to disagree, Koppaberg is the nectar of the gods.

The mixed fruit used to be something insane like 8%. Rocket fuel! They've toned it down a bit now though. :(
