Zurich for home insurance

Hi,

Got renewal quote for home insurance with Aviva, coming in (after haggling) at 599 for 225,000 rebuild + 45,000 contents. Zurich quoted 352 for 225,000 + 60,000 contents!! Anyone else find such a disparity between these two companies? Thanks.
 
My insurance was up for renewal in February and Zurich were by far the best value, can't remember the exact figures now off hand but there was a substantial difference as per your own example, I grabbed Zurich's offer with both hands!
 
I found before I could get Aviva a lot cheaper through a broker than directly. They give discounts if you have your car policy with them, but the initial gross premium was higher.

Was with Zurich for a year or 2, but then renewal went up a good bit for no reason.

In any case, never paid over 400 for very similar values to yours.
