What banks are doing deals if you pay lump sum of your mortgage?

I am on a tracker 0.5% above ECB with NIB.

I heard some banks are giving 10% of the lump you pay off, eg you pay 50k they take extra 5k off.

Im with NIB myself, did call them to ask them and was assured a mortgage advisor would call me back, must call them again , if I hear anything Ill let you know

The only lender with a formal scheme is PTSB.

There is nothing to stop you asking them to do a deal with you on a case by case basis.

Either last Sunday or last Sunday weeks Sun. Bus. Post had a piece on the Permanent deal - then had a couple of lines referencing the rest of the banks. I'm open to correction but the gist of it was that NIB are unlikely to go this route as they have other funding methods in place (I'm guessing that even though NIB is most probably a basket case (bound to have been plenty of take-up on the tracker deals they were doing), their danish parent is solvent - and can take the hit).

I seem to remember the NIB chief executive on Morning Ireland stating explicitly that they would not be going down this route. I think I posted here about it.
