Where to keep title deeds?

If you have a fire in your home , the loss of the title deeds will be the least of your problems.

Keep copies of the key documents in the title deeds. Give them on a USB stick to a relative and forget about it.

If the house goes on fire, you will spend a year recovering.

Then go to a solicitor and reconstitute the deeds.

My advice is dont fret too much about it. As another poster has said, IF you lost deeds they can be replaced. Hard copy probably not as crucial as it was in the past. Having said that dont throw them out, hang on to them.
