Where to Invest 50K?

Hi guys,

I have 50k in cash that I would like to invest in a fixed term deposit.

I won't need access to the money anytime soon.

From looking at the best buys thread it seems the state savings offers are the best option due to them being DIRT free.

Is this the best option for maximum ROI or is there anything else more attractive?

Would love to hear your thoughts

Why would you fix at a historically low rate? It's not as if the difference between state savings and the best bank's rates are significant.
