I've stayed in The Castlecourt while on business a few times and found it good.

It's centrally located, which is a help. The Westport Woods is a bit of a walk from the Diamond.

The Westport woods is centrally located to the Quay of Westport and the town centre, both areas have their own unique great value pubs and restaurants, five and ten minute walks away.

I'd recommend Westport one of Ireland's tidest places to holiday, Westport Woods Hotel is also Ireland's greenest hotel, doing its bit for the environment.
