Weekend in Prague

Discussing a long weekend away (fri-tues). Prague suggested as possibility. Any suggestions re central hotel accommodation. What is weather like, is it an expensive country, sightseeing, etc. Any recommendations? Switzerland also on the agenda so any views welcome.

The weather should be sunny and nice right now similar to how it is here.
Its a lot cheaper than Ireland and Switzerland.
Prague castle and the Astronomical Clock are pretty nice to see.

It would have been easier if you had told this earlier and said what else was not specifically contained in the other thread you need to know because I can easily find out.
