Weekend in Prague

Discussing a long weekend away (fri-tues). Prague suggested as possibility. Any suggestions re central hotel accommodation. What is weather like, is it an expensive country, sightseeing, etc. Any recommendations? Switzerland also on the agenda so any views welcome.

The weather should be sunny and nice right now similar to how it is here.
Its a lot cheaper than Ireland and Switzerland.
Prague castle and the Astronomical Clock are pretty nice to see.

Sarcasm does not become you Sign. HAVE read previous post and would have not have posted myself had all of my queries been answered on that post. The main thrust of it is discussion on clubs (of which I have no interest) together with Airport Shuttle (also of which I have no interest). Just seeking general views of posters who have been there previously and what they thought of the place. Also seeking views on Switzerland
