Wedding venues in the southeast of Ireland

Hi all,
We will be tying the knot next year, around August/September.
We are looking for a country venue that would hold between 100 to 160 guests in the Tipp/Waterford/Kilkenny region.
We have an average budget but would be willing to spend that little extra for something special.
The main thing we are looking for is the country setting that has nice grounds/scenery/service/meal etc.
Has anyone any suggestions or personal experiences that would suit this general area.

Hi Slimbo, congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. I can't offer any advice on hotels in the areas you are looking at but check out the wedding websites: www.weddingsonline.ie, [broken link removed] & www.irishweddings.ie for some ideas.

It might also be worth checking out some sites like www.irelandhotels.com for hotels in the area.
