When did you get the front brake pads replaced....... how many miles did you get from them? The rear ones last much longer?

When you get your car serviced your mechanic will advise when your brake pads will need to be replaced.

Good Luck ;)

Do some brake pads have a metal tag that issues a "squeal" when the pad needs replacing? Some cars have warning lights to indicate wear on brake pads.

If you ever hear a metal on metal "squeal" from the brakes then get to a garage asap! That would suggest the pad has worn completely.

Some makes do have dash lights to indicate pads need changing but associated pad sensors certainly won't 'squeal' along with it.

What exactly is the problem?

Front brakes tend to doo all the work so will wear quicker.
If you here metal on metal all as was mentioned thats bad.

Some pads do have sensors.

Don't mess with brakes go to a garage or kwik fit or similar and get them checked.
