chargeback on your credit card? though if they haven't officially ceased trading, it might be tricky.

1) Write them a letter saying you want a refund to your card within seven days. Highly unlikely they will do this or you will get a reply

2) Call your card provider to initiate a chargeback. If they seek evidence show them 1)

You have between 120 and 180 days to initiate a chargeback. Many people aren’t aware of this.

I paid a substantial booking deposit to Shanahans for a Christmas meal one week before they closed. I contacted them by email seeking a refund. They merely responded saying they were “temporarily closed” and regretted any inconvenience, ignoring my request for a refund. Shanahans subsequently cancelled the booking via the OpenTable App.

I then disputed the charge with the credit card company who have initiated the chargeback process. The card company will require you to provide all evidence in support of your claim (booking confirmation, receipts, cancellation confirmation and all email correspondence).

I’ve been credited with the amount of the booking deposit by the card company but will have to wait to see whether it remains there as a credit, as the merchant (Shanahans) may dispute the chargeback.

Also, given the business has closed, this may prevent the card company/issuer from calling on funds from the merchant in satisfaction of the credit made to me. I’ll just have to wait and see.

Needless to say, the fact that Shanahans insisted on me paying monies up front in circumstances where they closed down a week later leaves a very sour taste.

Your refund is safe. A tiny % of every card transaction is in effect insurance and chargebacks come from this "insurance fund" - doesn't matter whether there is money in the company's account or not

Assuming the OP paid by card, a chargeback should be successful if they can get confirmation that the vouchers have been cancelled. The problem is they are saying "temporarily closed" which means you need to get the vouchers cancelled and confirmation that they are cancelled

Their voucher platform was operated by Voucher Connect https://www.voucherconnect.com/ who may be able to provide more information.
