Volkswagen Loses Dieselgate Case in Germany

This ruling was issued last week by the highest civil court in Germany. The plaintiff bought a secondhand VW Sharan in 2014 for €31,500. He sued VW following the Dieselgate controversy and they have been ordered to partially refund his money plus interest. The total amount awarded comes to €28,000.

VW is now expected to settle a further 50,000 claims on similar terms.

Anyone aware of any Irish cases pending? It's not like our legal friends to miss a trick;)
