This course has been recommended to a young relative who is possibly interested in pursuing a course or career in taxation. Anyone any experience of the course or views?

The Tax Technician course is ideal for people working in compliance and accounting roles. Students will learn the fundamentals of tax.

I did this course approximately 10 years ago. It was a good course and gave a good grounding in all the topics. I did it online but there was also the option for in person classes at the time. I originally planned to go on to study the Diploma in Tax but life got in the way. I may go back to it someday when I have more time on my hands. I don't specifically need it in my current job, however the knowledge gained has been very useful along the way.
