Venue for 30th birthday in Cork city

Hey, any recommendations for a venue for a 30th birthday party in Cork city? I'm not looking for a function room, maybe just to reserve an area in a pub for around 30-40 people.

I left Cork a few years ago but was in there recently enough - nice decor, very handy location (just off Oliver Plunkett St) and enough seating / areas that I'm sure they would reserve an area for you. Laid back place - have a look on the contacts page and give them a bell. Best of luck!

How about SoHo on Grand Parade, you can book a section and it's a late bar. www.soho.ie

I'd go with Soho as well ... they do great finger food and have a private roof terrace for bbq's as well

Thanks for the replies...the only thing that's putting me off SoHo is that their finger food is quite expensive.
