Well, the contract and brochure said nothing about the flooring so I imagine that it won't be included. Oh well, there goes another couple grand...

Not sure. I'd give Hooke And McDonald a ring. At the end of January, there were only 3 apartments left from the first phase (of which I took 1). They said that these were cancellations and that there were no more left. But this could have been just them tryng to put me under pressure to book straight away.

Let me know if you do contact them as I would be interested to know if they had been telling me porky pies!

As regards the measurement, the layout I got with my contract was 1:75, so measured the layouts in millimetres, divided by 1000 and multiplied by 75. There's always going to be a margin of error, but it gives me a somewhat realistic expectation of the room sizes.

Just a quick question regarding measuring the room. Going by your above method is the size in square foot or square metres? MIght be a silly question but just not sure!

That calculation will give you square metres. To convert to square feet, multiply by 10.764.

Has anyone moved into mellowes quay apartment? whats the apt like? are they nice and big enough, like the layout etc? i heard most of the two bed apt is about 60-80 sqm, come with a single and a double bedroom. is block A-E all finished up?

hi, is it still the same in the maltings post are a bit old so wondering if it much nicer there as i saw fine apt i'd like to move in, i've been there during the day and it was looking in general peaceful
 
Maltings is a mess and noisy place during night. Its fine for guys not so much for girls.
I lived there for a year and still live in vicinity. If you are renting its fine not so much for buying.
Try to go through the area at 11pm and you will find out how it is like.
