US $ Account with Anglo

I have a US Dollar A/c with Anglo and I feel it is now time to convert some/all into Euros. Should I got a dollar draft from Anglo or should I get them to convert the dollars into euro I am not sure what or where is the best place to do this conversion. I am really looking for some advice on what is the best way to conver this money. Sorry I am so long winded.

A lot of people swear by using www.xe.com to get the better rates than the banks.

For a recent c. US$10K transfer I found www.currency.ie offered better rates and lower charges than www.xetrade.com and were easier to deal with.
