UPS customs payment Scam text

I just got one of these. I am expecting a parcel. I get a text from UPS. I follow the link. It tells me to pay €1.50 in customs duty.
But when you go that page to enter your address and credit card details you are filling in a form to order an iphone 12!
The Mirror had this last week:

An Garda Síochána have urged people to be alert to these ongoing scams.

The best way to avoid these is to understand that none of the parcel carriers incl an post will ever send a text looking for any form of payment.

This includes "customs charges", taxes, surcharges, late fees, redelivery fees or anything whatsoever.
