We recently installed a buru insert stove and were told that there maybe an unplesent odour as it was commisoned. It is now two months later and we are haveing a problem with dry mouths and throat has anyone had same problem or maybe give some advice
Dry mouth & throat is consistent with flue leakage. Do not use the stove again until it is tested and certified to be safe. Others symptoms are headaches & nausea. Carbon monoxide is a odourless and colourless. Put a carbon monoxide detection alarm close to the stove.
why not invest in a CO2 alarm, but as said above you should get the installer back to test and re-certify

(I've certainly no affiliation with the esb btw)
