Can anyone help please? I have a perfectly functioning tramploine but the net and net ONLY has become weather beaten. The enclosure poles are fine so I am just looking to purchase the net - any help would be greatly appreciated - a shop/store or website address would be great

Have you tried contacting the company/shop where you originally purchased it? If they are not around any longer you could try giving www.toys.ie a call to see if they can give you any advice.

Google throws up .

Do you really need a net? When we purchased our trampoline I did some research and found that nets can cause accidents as well as kids can see them as part of the toy and use them to bounce off. We decided to forego the net and in 4 years of use have had 3 kids actually falling off the trampoline (to our knowledge) and one that cried because she hurt her arm (she was back on again in 20 minutes).

Before we bought it we laid down the rules of usage i.e. numbers on at one time, what's allowed/not allowed and no mixing ages/sizes etc. It seems to have worked out OK but I think it depends on your own personal approach to this type of stuff e.g. I would prefer to teach my toddler how to use the stairs from a young age rather than put up safety gates...

Ironically my daughter is in A&E right now to get an x-ray of her elbow after she tripped over her own feet on a beach and whacked her elbow against a wooden deck....such is life!

Thank you both for the input.

Original retailer has closed have done some cyber trawling already. Was really wondering if anyone else had encountered - and more im[ortnantly - solved this problem before

Galwegian44 - I knwo what you eman about the net but having had it now for over three years I feel in would not e an option to suddenly intro a netless trampo..

I bought a net only in Smyths as our old one had gotten a bit battered.

I would be firmly in favour of a net - my dd fell off her cousins trampoline (no net) and split her lip on the legs of the trampoline - ended up having to have surgery and will probably have to have plastic surgery in the future.

Temple St told me that trampolines are one of the major causes of accidents in for children.

Definately get the net - easier to teach them not to jump onto it than to teach them how to fall off and NOT split open their head or break their neck!

Weare in the same boat.
Took out the trampoline, the net is in bits so we need to replace it.
Has anyone any ideas?
The smyths website seems to just have the full enclosure (which is too much) and a safety skirt (for underneath)
I have tried the local toyshop aswell.
Got the trampoline as a handmedown so dont know where it was bought.

Any advice is v. welcome!

I dont know where you live, but Nimble Fingers in Stillorgan stock trampolines and have been are good for ordering parts for other stuff for me in the past,

FYI I bought a net for a 13ft trampoline for €70 all in - incl. shipping from a UK seller on ebay.

Hi dragonl,

Would you mind giving me the website of the uk provider you purchased the net from - like you have a 13 ft trampoline and net needs replacing and also the blue soft panels which sit on the trampoline.

Many thanks
