Is it possible to Trade options within a Personal Retirement Savings Account (PRSA) ? Can I open a PRSA in Ireland and start to trade options within the pension ? Does anyone have experience of trading options within a PRSA in Ireland ? Are any gains sheltered from CGT and income tax ? thanks.
 
You might need a self-directed/self-administered pension to do that. But I believe that they are not cheap to set up and run. There are existing threads on this topic that might be worth checking...


There are also many potential pitfalls with an individual thinking that they can beat the markets, indiced, fund managers by doing their own trading.
