J jsn Registered User Messages 25 12 Jan 2009 #1 Having problems with two toilets in the house. Have noticed that a couple of hours after they have been flushed the water turns dirty. It is as if "stuff" is flowing back in the toilets. The toilets are at different ends of the house. Any ideas?

Lift each manhole in turn and the pipe between the last empty one and the last full one is where the blockage is. You'll need lots of water and either drain rods or a flexible "snake" to clear the blockage (FFS don't use a power washer!!!!!!)
