Not only that but the Irish in-game commentary tends to be awful. Standard fare for match day (for myself) is RTE build up, BBC Commentary, RTE post match.I usually prefer to watch the rugby on BBC because they allow you to hear more of the crowd noise.
Maybe... but i wouldn't have changed it. The memory of a potential Grand Slam 4 years ago in Lansdowne and being embarrassed by Wilkinson, Greenwood (who took the p1ss in that match) etc still burns.but it would have been miles better had the game been close.
I prefer AIF atmosphere but then it means more to me, I think the biggest problem is the make-up of the crowd in that there are so few english there, so you don't get the same banter either pre-match or during the game.
Ah that RTE commentator is not very good. I don't think he even mentioned the fact that it was a record victory (could have missed this though what with all that crowd noise)
