Taking credit card payments over phone

Hi all, Im new to setting up a business, just wondering what is the best way to process credit card payments when taking details over the phone?

Do you have a credit card terminal? If not, phone your bank.(euroconnex)
I started off with a manual one, dont know if they still do them. Also you need a merchant account. Your biz need to be established as I've seen some posts where some businesses can't get a merchant acc. If you do have a terminal, you need to ask cutomers for c.card no, expiry date and their cvv no.

Also make sure to get a phone number in case you need to contact them.
