There is a UK times radio podcast on this with an interview with John Mooney the journalist that broke the story. He said that " Cobalt" is very well known to the irish public and is very vocal. Also that the russian involvement came to light in 2019 when brexit negotiations were at a very delicate stage and the russians were trying to enflame things between unionists and nationalists so that brexit negotiations would collapse and that would weaken the whole western alliance
