The SUSI student grant allows deductions for reckonable income for “contributions to pension schemes”. My spouse works in the public service and pays:
Class A Officer (Rev Sch) Pen
Class A Officer (Rev Sch) Ls
Spouses And Childrens Officers

Do these count as “contributions to pension schemes” for this purpose?

Also, we will do a lump sum execution only AVC PRSA this month so that it counts against 2024 - is there anything in particular we need to do or watch out for?

Thanks for your help :)

These look like the normal pension contributions made by public servants, yes.

The LS may refer to the lump-sum.

Thanks :) - all three are regular deductions on every payslip but I think (hope) that they are all types of "pension" and will be counted by SUSI as that...
