there are usually two different engagements at this stage.
the second engagement would be in a 'supervisionry' role. Again at predetermined times, probably one site meeting a week. In this engagement, the architect / engineers role is everything mentioned above, plus to ensure the smooth running of the build, ensure best practises and workmanship is adhered to, and to be available for 'trouble-shooting' if needed. there is a lot more communications between client - architect - builder with this engagement. obviously this costs a lot more than the first, perhaps in the area of 1.5 - 2% of construction costs.
