Suggestions on a car for about €35,000

Re: Suggestions on a car for about €35,000

Ok I've been driving a new 2007 M3 for the last while but unfortunately my wife seems to have fallen in love with the M3 and as I'm in love with her shes now driving the M3, it's a sad story really!

Anyway as I'm now going to be driving the 'second car' in the family we've got about €35,000 to spend on a car. I'll probably end up bringing the car in from the North.

I'm basically looking for suggestions of what I should look at. I'm currently considering a 2007-2008 BMW 330i or 325D Coupe at the moment but I wondering what else would people suggest around that same market.

Of course I'd be looking for low VRT 16-25%....
I would recommend a new VW polo diesel, its far less poluting and does 70mpg. Within 3 years or so your BMW's will be worth whatever scrap metal is selling for and petrol will be rationed along with severe speed limits imposed. Or perhaps if you live near some nice greenery, then a horse and cart.

Begrudgers are still alive and kicking I see!

So you were originally looking at buying a car for €35k, and you now say you've imported a 2007 DB9 for, what, £80k plus the VRT?

O rly?

I wonder what that much money would actually buy you up north?

I'll have a look on www.usedcarsni.com and come back to you.

Although a guy two doors down atwork did buy an Aston DB7 last year from England and he actually did get a really good deal on it.

To Hell with you and your DB - My desired car. Your not the person who won a share of the Euro Millions.

If so, can I write my Santa list to you?
