Could anybody tell me how to go about staining white deal skirting and architraving to match dark teak doors? Whats the best product out there as to avoid contrast around the knotted areas? Thanks.

As it is a total different timber you will never get them to match 100%, you would be better to paint the architrave and leave the doors the teak colour. White deal architrave is for painting.

I understand that and I've tried explaining it to my dear old Ma but she wants them stained, something close enough to the colour would suit fine!!thanks

Teak Sadolins may be worth a try, worth visiting a good paint shop for advise (if aam does'nt solve your query) and if you had an off-cut or two you could bring them in with you and they would dab a few different stains on a piece for you to have a look at when it is dry at home beside the doors.
