St Kilians cheated by Leaving Cert standardisation

Assuming that the LC is re-instated next year (or some other, more accurate way in measuring students is used), surely it would be worth my while taking a year out and just applying again next year?

Unless this year's results are 'the new normal'. Easy to sort with standardisation and most likely scenario I would think.

Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear
One of the mistakes was that in determining a school's Junior Cycle intake, instead of taking Maths, English and Irish plus the two best other subjects, they took the two worst other subjects. Which means St Kilians got no credit at all for being red hot at German in the standardisation process.
The other error was that CSPE was included in the Junior Cert subjects used when that had not been part of the spec. Doesn't sound so serious an error.
