Given your millions Gordon, there'd still be plenty left over for me, Brendan and Tommy. We might even splash out on a big casket for you.

Surely that would not be financially a wise decision and Gordon should be put in a simple wicker casket which is also, given we are all now green, biodegradable.

Is the niece a daughter of the aunt?

I'd assume it's an aunt who inherited a farm from her parents and is leaving it to a favourite niece. With 8 other cousins getting the residue. It's very bad tax planning if niece ends up paying a cool half mil to revenue.

There was a study done years ago and people were offered the following

1. Salary of €50,000; others in your company earned €25,000
2. Salary of €100,000; others in your company earned €200,000

You'd think the answer is obvious but 50% of people chose 1.

The OP and 7 others are getting free money. But in comparison to one other person, they are being hard done by.
