'Short Term' Investement?

Hi,
I'm about to inherit approx 60K and will probably use it very easily on home improvements etc. Would anyone have tips on where to 'invest' it whilst having plans drawn up, passed, discussed etc. Could take a few months and the money has to be tucked out of temptations way meanwhile.

Unless you are willing to take a risk with the value of your lump sum then the only option is really deposits. Check the for details of the best demand, regular saver and fixed term deposits on offer at the moment.
