I am the executor of an estate for which probate has now been granted and I am selling the property on behalf of the beneficiaries. As part of the sale we need to provide the new owners solicitor with a certificate of registration from Protect our water as the property has a septic tank.
I have registered on the protectourwater.ie site but no where as part of the registration or payment does it deal with probate cases where the registered owner has passed away - and I am simply acting to progress a sale from estate to new purchaser.
Do I simply register and pay the 50 euro charge online - as if I was in effect the new owner and get a certificate - or is there a separate process for probate cases where you have to provide a copy of the death certificate and grant of probate.
