Sat Nav advice

ive just bought a garmin in usa,back in dublin now,and trying to register and map update,it all goes fine till the download ,which only goes to 3%,then returns back to the register page.is it because im on line in ireland,and may need to use a usa address,any ideas,please.
 
We got a Medion gps with full maps of Europe in Aldi a few days ago for €129. It's for use in the car (I have a Nokia N95 for the bike). It uses Navteq maps which are very accurate. The signal acquisition and route calcuation is very fast. The directions given are clear and accurate. It doesn't have Bluetooth or all the frills of some of the more expensive ones, but it does what it's supposed to do very well.
