No one has lived in it for over 5 years. It sold last year which was a relief as finally someone would take it in hand.Is the house empty or do people come and go? Can you put a letter in their letterbox asking them to contact you
It can easily happen. Due to family law issues I have been the owner of a property that has lain idle/unoccupied for most of the last decade (albeit not falling into dereliction) and which I'm only in a position to deal with (sell!) having finally obtained my divorce last year. I know that the neighbours either side weren't too happy but there was nothing that I could really do until now.I'm at a complete loss as to why someone would do this and continue to leave it fall into decline.
